Up Close and Personal with....
Nikki

Interviewer -  James Olsen – January 2004

1)  Nikki, how long have you been wrestling?

I was a bit of a tomboy growing up, so the neighborhood boys and I used to backyard wrestle.  I suppose this started around age 12.   This, of course, shaped me and, later on in life--a little over two years ago--I was formally trained in submission style wrestling, as well as a bit of Pro experience that I hope to expand on in the future.

2)  What type of girl were you growing up?  Were you athletic?

Just practically answered that one but, like I said, I was a tomboy.  I loved building things.  Yes, I participated in several sports growing up, skiing, tennis, softball, gymnastics, dance, and swimming to name a few.

3)  Nikki, what are some of your favorite holds to use?

The Camel Clutch and my deadly Indian deathlock.  And, of course, various arm bars.  Gets 'em every time.

4)  Nikki, I see you offer sessions.  What types of sessions do you do?

I do fantasy to semi-competitive wrestling sessions, as well as boxing and mixing role-play scenarios.  I’m also available for beat-down sessions, ball-busting, trampling, forced foot worship...I love it all.

5)  I see you recently worked for Straddle Productions.  Could you tell us a little about it?

What characters!  But it was a definite pleasure.  Very accommodating.  They even fed me!  I certainly would recommend them to anyone.  I hope I have the pleasure to work with them again.  There was a lot of good energy.

6)  What are some of your favorite foods?

Sushi, vegetarian, Ethiopian, pasta

7)  What type of music do you like?  Who are some of your favorite bands?

A bit of everything but particularly Punk Rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, good ol’ rock-n-roll, and east coast style hip hop.  Favorite bands?  Social Distortion, AFI, The Misfits, Digable Planets, Tiger Army

8)  What is the last book you read?

"Drawing Blood" by Poppy Z. Brite.  I'm a horror freak.

9)  Nikki, I have heard you’re going to be in a show coming up in the very near future.  Can you please tell us a little about it?

What an exciting show!  It’s a comedy that parodies Pro wrestling.  The way it is set up is on stage there will be a live ring, with actual story lines, audio commentary, backstage interview on the big screen, live matches taking place with audience participation...just like a live pay-per-view but only Chicago Underground Theater style.  The show opens the first week of April.

10)  Nikki, I want thank you so much for taking the time to do this interview  Is there anything you'd like to say to all your fans out there?

My pleasure.  Thank you for thinking I'm cool enough to print my words.  :-)  Yes.  The active ingredient in most anti-perspirants is aluminum.  BAD NEWS.  It causes Old Timers Disease.  Be mindful and stick to just deodorant or all natural herbal ingredients in your anti-perspirant.  Thank you.  Oh, and my usual challenge to take on the world.
